Applied Knowledge Group (AKG) won the Gold Sponsorship Award from the Spinal
Research Foundation at the inaugural "We've Got Your Back" 2 mile walk and 4 Mile
run. Team AKG raised the most money and registered the most participants for the
event, generating donations totaling $3,230. With 39 participants, Team AKG had a
significant presence at the event.

CEO Michael Howland said "I am thrilled our employees rose to the occasion and made
this a true team effort to make a difference. This award illustrates the company's
vested interest in bettering the community and making a difference. AKG is proud to
be able to help the Spinal Research Foundation fund further research and spread
awareness about the spinal injuries that affect millions of people. "
